respectfully, i disagree with the "don't emoji-only comment" sentiment. they're easy to say thank you too and if it's a genuinely shy commenter or someone leaving a quick 'extra kudos' emoji comment then it's the last you'll hear from them, but it's unfair to treat them as inherently suspicious when all scam comments seek to mimic genuine replies one way or another.
