Summary
Gibbs has two files in his head marked "DiNozzo" and "Trouble." Most problems involving his SFA end up in the file labeled "DiNozzo— Hilarious Trouble." This problem, however, is looking like it's going to end up in the other file, the one labeled "DiNozzo— Serious Trouble."
When a phone call from Philadelphia causes Tony to begin acting oddly, Gibbs suspects that something is wrong. His suspicions are confirmed when a Sentinel and Guide pair from the Philadelphia S & G Center show up at NCIS asking for Guide DiNozzo. Uncertain what his SFA has gotten himself into, Gibbs calls in the big guns: the former Judge Advocate General and the current Alpha Sentinel of D.C., A.J. Chegwidden, and his guide, Captain Harmon Rabb.

Summary
Overall, Jack is pretty happy. He’s just met his guide and they’ve got a sweet new second level accord (okay, so the fact that they totally bypassed the first level is, perhaps, concerning). Not to mention, Tony is apparently a shoo-in for that new investigative unit Paul wants. However, not everything is as simple as it appears. His new guide has a ton of baggage from his last “perfect” sentinel and a talent for finding more (and weirder) trouble than Jack has had contend with since he was responsible for Daniel Jackson. Including a new and totally unexpected threat to Earth.
Against all odds, Tony has met a second perfect sentinel. Moreover, they have somehow managed to form a second level accord without even trying. This should be enough trouble for even Tony to be getting on with. But then Jack reads Tony into the top secret program he’s working on over at the Pentagon, and suddenly, Tony is being sucked down the rabbit hole into a world where aliens exist, space travel is possible, and Earth is in almost as much danger from its own people as it is from its offworld enemies. It’s at times like this that one has to ask oneself: what would Will Smith do?

Summary
Tony and Gibbs are settling into their new jobs at Homeworld Command, and Tony and Jack are settling into their new partnership as sentinel and guide. The hours are crazy, the cases are crazier, and some witty soul has nicknamed their new division “The X-Files Unit,” but overall, everything is going well.
Then Colonel Caldwell gets snaked by the Trust, Tony starts to come into a strange new gift, and the Philadelphia problem comes back to haunt them. Now Tony and Gibbs must assemble a team to combat this new threat to Earth, while Tony and Jack must face the ultimate test of their partnership. The stakes are high, the clocks are ticking… and someone out there might just want Jack dead.
