Summary
"Do you hate Kakashi-nii?" She repeated, a little more insistent. Not angry, just curious, in that blameless way only children could be. "Rin-nee said that the Uchiha hate him because he had Obito-nii's eye. Do you hate him?"

"Because we're rivals now! Fighting for Sasuke's affection!" The girl answered vehemently, and Rin managed not to break into unhinged defensive laughter. Honestly, being on a team with her boys had ruined the word 'rival' for her. Sometimes, after listening to Obito rant and rave for hours on end, it didn't even sound like a word anymore.

Summary
Shisui was sitting in the bathtub to stay out of her way. She kind of looked like if she didn't get to pace she'd just start punching through walls, and he only kind of doubted she'd find a way to literally do just that, with crystalized spite or something.
He didn't say anything, though. He had to figure out something to say.
"You're- I know you're just trying to be a good old person." She gritted, "But don't you get it? Just cause you were forced into a war and you didn't want to be doesn't mean that's what's happening to me. We aren't even technically at war right now! I'm not being forced into anything by anyone but myself, because I need to get out there. I need to get strong, and I have stuff to do."

Summary
It's a blatant waste of talent, the Academy turning you down for something so inconsequential. They've grown over cautious with early graduations, ever since the Uchiha Massacre. That wasn't your fault, though, was it? you shouldn't be the one bearing the consequences." he sighed sympathetically.
She nodded, wiping at her face again. "Yeah. 'S not fair." She pouted, looking at the man cautiously. He seemed...kind. Old. Wise. He reminded her of the Hokage- he had a kind of face that was easy to trust because he always did what was best. Someone burdened by guilt, but with a will of fire determined to keep going. He looked creepy, wrapped in bandages, and there was an army of specters piled behind him, but that could be said for most good shinobi.
Inner didn't trust him though. Inner was usually right.

Summary
He didn’t react. Neither of the boys did either. Of course they didn’t. The ghosts were only really visible to Sakura and occasionally tangible to things that aren’t alive. Her new sensei’s hair moved slightly with another punch, and the redhead, thankfully, took it as a victory, as she resumed her spot behind Naruto.

"And your hobbies?" The pinkette spoke up before they moved on, seeming annoyed.
"Training. Getting stronger." He answered with a shrug. "There isn't anything I especially enjoy doing." The Uchiha glared at her, urging her to drop the subject, but she didn't seem to even notice, glaring at a patch of air behind the space between them instead of the boy himself.
"We'll fix that." She claimed primly, and Kakashi spoke up before it the Uchiha had time to rebuttal.

"Fine." She conceded. "So, you here to make demands then?" She guessed, and Shisui gave an embarrassed laugh.
"Well, more like requests." He claimed, rubbing the back of his head.
"Except I'll totally haunt you if you don't listen to me, dattebane." Kushina added

Summary
"...I don't think I caught your name, Shinobi-san." Haku admitted, sounding marginally guilty.
"That's fair, I suppose. I didn't get yours either. I'm Sakura." The brat introduced.
"Yuki Haku. Do you not have a last name, Sakura-san?" They inquired, offering a hand for a handshake. The girl giggled.
"Haku-san, you're mostly intangible to the living now. We can't really shake hands." Sakura reached out to shake Haku's hand, but her own went right through theirs. Haku flinched in surprise, but didn't seem hurt. The girl leaned back again. "And I do have a last name, but names have power for the dead. I don't see much of a need to tell you it."

"It's really not a big deal."
"Oh?" He asks mildly, raising a single eyebrow and pouring a cup of something without looking. "It seemed like a bit of a big deal, when you almost bit my finger off."

"please. Like I'd ever let a ghost kill either of you- not a chance. Both because Ghosts aren't real and because, if they were, they'd be rightfully scared of me." She hissed, smirking at her boys and catching Shisui hide behind another Uchiha dramatically in the corner of her eye.

Summary
"Oooh, DEKORIN!~" Sakura heard trilled in the distance, activating her fight-or-flight response immediately. By the time Ino bursts into the clearing, absolutely glowing with smugness, Sakura is on her feet with her arms crossed, meeting Ino's glare evenly. This usually gets her at least a flash of hesitancy from the blonde, but today it seems nothing could faze her as she bounces on her toes. "Guess who just asked me on a date!"
"Pfft. You're bluffing, Ino-buta." Sakura dismissed easily, turning up her nose. "The Chunnin exams just finished up, there's no way he took the time to talk to you."
"Well he did! And he was all shy about it too!" Ino pressed, hands on her hips. "Said that he needed my help because you wouldn't help him. We're doing a- what did he call it? A seance, ghost thing. Which is obviously just an excuse to hold my hand, because it's not like Sasuke-kun thinks ghosts are real." Ino rolled her eyes, flipping her hair over her shoulder.
Sakura froze in place long enough to take a deep breath.
Damn.
