Summary
Of course, out of all the people to find out, it just had to be Dream. Tommy tried, really he did! He tried so hard to keep the illusion up, to make himself seem stronger than he was, bigger than he was. But illusions took energy, especially when they have to be constantly kept up. Anything to keep himself safe though, anything to not seem weak.

Or: Tommy is really just a kid using illusion magic to make himself seem older then he really is, until he slips up and lets it drop while in exile. He also gets to grow some new wings.

Summary
He made a deal, to protect the fledgling he found, one that although loud, rambunctious and often times annoying, had the most golden heart he'd ever seen. One that had been hurt far too much for how young it was. He shook the gods hand, hoping for refuge and safety.
It's too bad then, that gods are not bound by simple rules such as that of honesty.

Summary
The masked man scoffed. “Of course you act like this. Communicator. Hand it over. You obviously don’t mean it. If you’re going to waste my time by making me repeat myself, I’m going to take away a privilege of yours. If you don’t respect me, I’m not going to respect you.” He held out a hand expectantly, and Tommy’s stomach turned at the thought of being away from the one connection he had with everybody else. Still, it was an order, not a request.
He summoned the device from his inventory, he clutched it tightly in his hand then held it over Dream’s open palm, for just a moment before letting it drop into the man's waiting hand. He regretted it almost instantly when he remembered everything that was held inside of it. Especially some of the more recent messages he had sent. He could only hope Dream would just put it away somewhere for a while, not look at anything on it, then give it back once Tommy managed to prove himself worthy of it again.
It didn’t seem like he would be that lucky this time around.

Summary
Long ago a young dragon returned to his nest after a long journey, only to find it ransacked by hunters and all his flock missing aside from one egg that had been hidden. Knowing he couldn't care for the hatchling himself, he leaves it on the doorstep of an avian man and hopes to find them again some day.
Years later, a young avian accidentally sets a house ablaze, sparking a new journey for both him and that young dragon. Over time they learn to trust each other, and the dragon learns he may not be as alone as he once thought.
