Perhaps it was only her guts telling her this, but she had a feeling she would be using it soon. “Something about a legendary musician who could flawlessly play the best of tunes. This sounds very foolish, Maya Fey.”
“Heh, you’ll see!” Maya said with a chuckle, grabbing Franziska’s other hand. “Let’s just sit at a table and wait for the show to start, okay? I’m sure the musician will be here soon.”
With narrowed eyes that betrayed her skepticism, Franziska let herself be dragged to a table near the stage.
When Maya brings her to a shady restaurant, Franziska gets to reunite with a friend of her whip’s, turned legendary piano player.

Franziska frustratingly groaned when she heard her phone ring on her bedstand. This was unfortunate timing. Quickly, she removed her finger from inside herself and readjusted her clothes. Finally, she turned off the vibrator and put it out of sight.
“Whoever the fool calling me right now is, it better be important…” she muttered to herself, grabbing her phone and noticing it was a video call. Her eyes widened as she saw Maya’s face on the screen. “How about the most foolish of them, huh?”
She shook her head amusingly and took the call.
“Franny! You finally answered!” Maya said enthusiastically, showing Franziska her customary bright smile. “What took you so long?!”
Franziska is away on a mission with Interpol. Maya calls at a convenient time.

She rolled her eyes. “Fine, Maya Fey. How about you?”
Maya fiddled with a strand of her black hair as she smiled. “I’m good, thanks. Thank you for agreeing to this, by the way. You must be busy with all your work.”
“Yes, indeed,” Franziska didn’t deny, sighing. “Still, some time away from these foolish fools at the Prosecutor’s Office won’t harm me. Even if it is to meet with another fool, mind you.”
The prosecutor smirked at Maya, who sweatdropped in response. With such a comment, there could be no doubt that the girl in front of her was Franziska von Karma. But this was the Franziska whom Maya had developed feelings for.
Maya and Franziska have a heart-to-heart chat on their first date.

Her eyes widening, Franziska grabbed her whip and turned around at light’s speed. She believed she was alone. After all, this was to be expected inside a bathroom stall.
“W-What are you doing here?!” Franziska asked furiously, whipping the tiled floor next to the familiar girl’s feet. “T-The audience isn’t supposed to be inside the Prosecution Lobby, Maya Fey!”
During the recess of a complicated trial, Franziska runs into her girlfriend in the bathroom of the Prosecution Lobby. Steamy events ensue.

Maya made sure her touch was gentle. Her girlfriend looked so fragile; Maya was afraid she would break upon touching her.
“Is this alright, Franny?”
Franziska gave a weak nod. It was always like this between the two, making sure the painful memories were kept away. Her fingers softly traced fingers on her stomach. They were both only in their underwear, and while it didn’t bother Maya, Franziska seemed frail. Her skin was cold to the touch, and Maya could feel her shivering.
“Relax, Franny… You’re alright, okay?”

The memories haunted her. Franziska could still hear her own tears of despair. She could still recall every little bit of pain she had felt. There wasn’t a second when she could be free of this nightmare that had been the reality of her life. However, as Maya’s lips pressed against her own, Franziska realized something.
Hope had never left her.
