Ango seems to have been waiting for that question, because he immediately starts listing off the offenses on his fingers. “There was that time he went scribble-crazy and drew all over himself to get a rise out of you. But since you didn’t give him the reaction he was looking for, he started to draw increasingly…indecent things on his face.”
“The dick was a bit much,” Oda agrees, furrowing his brows at the memory.
Oda’s soulmate sounds like trouble. Unfortunately for him, he just can’t leave well enough alone.

“Why did I ever expect a serious answer from you?”
“I am being serious,” Dazai insists, though saying that with a giant dick drawn on his face probably lessens the impact of his statement. “I wouldn’t push Odasaku without knowing his limits. You might think he’s just tolerating my harassment, but he’s in on it too.”
“And I’m supposed to believe that when you do things like…this.” Ango gestures vaguely at the drawing, as if it’s too vulgar for him to even put into words.
Dazai has a soulmate. It doesn’t mean anything, until it does.

Summary
Puzzled, Oda lifts the corner of his blanket up to cover Dazai and watches him curl into it with a satisfied sigh. Like this, cheek squished against the tatami, face unmarred by his usual machinations, he almost looks tame. One could even have been fooled into thinking that he doesn’t delight in causing grief for his coworkers at every turn.
At least until he wraps the blanket around himself and steals it right off of Oda’s back. All while still being asleep.
Dazai keeps breaking into Oda’s apartment to take a nap on his floor, and Oda can’t figure out why.

“But—”
“I am not kissing you,” Ango says with finality, and he really is getting good at anticipating Dazai’s responses. How touching.
Dazai pouts. “Why noooot?”

He likes Ango. Well, he likes messing with Ango. It’s basically the same thing.
Dazai doesn’t know what love is. His solution is to go around kissing people until he figures it out.

Surprise flickers across Dazai’s face, and he seems at a loss for words. His gaze drops down to his lap, lingering there hesitantly, before drifting back to Oda. Seeing no contempt there, his expression eventually softens into a tentative smile.
“I’d like that. Thank you.”
In the months following the collapse of the Port Mafia, Oda comes to learn more about the person named Dazai Osamu.
