Summary
So goes the story of the Aether-child, the slave-boy named Sky-Walker and Rain-Bringer, with a Gift of Ar-Amu so great he was more at home drifting star-wards than he was planet-bound; the desert-child with wings so vast they stretched from end of eternity to end. Listen, children, and remember.
I tell you this story to save your life.
No matter what is, what happens, what-will-be, Anahkeen is from Tatooine, and the desert is in his bones. The Jedi may call him the Chosen One, but Anahkeen is an Aether-Child, and Ar-Amu has promised he will be free.

Summary
It happened one day that Ekkreth was going along that from the desert there came a loud weeping, a sorrow so great they flew down to search for its source. And they came upon Ar-Amu, who had cried such that the sand was damp with her tears.
Now Ekkreth was greatly worried at the sight, as all know not to waste water in the desert. And so the Sky-Walker asked Ar-Amu: “Mother, why do you weep so?”
And the Mother replied: “My children have forgotten themselves. They are deaf to my teachings and blind to my warnings, and now wander lost in the desert.”
When they had heard this, Ekkreth joined their mother in her sorrow, and wept for all their siblings that had lost their ways.
To cover oneself in cloth and metal is to be protected, but it is also to deafen and blind oneself to the outside world. And Anahkeen, like all Amavikka, knows that to do so is to lose oneself in the desert, to wander eternal through Lukka without being scoured clean. The Aether whispers that thus are the Jedi, and Anahkeen swears he will set them free.

Summary
On a small piece of flimsi, pinned in place by a magnet on a stack of holopads:
Jehxah Obi-Wan Kenobi,
I hope these can help satisfy your padawan’s curiosity. It is always a pleasure to see the youth questioning and delving into Force Philosophy. They should be a good primer for him, all fairly short but a good overview of the material. If he is particularly interested in any of the excerpts, I have included a list of longer texts he may read and reference at his leisure.
