Lan Zhan's band, Lightbearer, is in need of a new vocalist. Their previous one left the band over creative direction issues right before the end of their last touring cycle—they finished the tour, but Su She was gone after that. And he’d left in a public, ugly way: a rant in a Mediagram caption below a setlist that had been torn in half.
They haven’t had luck finding a replacement, and it’s been a few years. Long enough ago for the breakup setlist to become a meme.
And then, one day, Lan Zhan’s Chatter feed starts blowing up with what looks to be an audition tape: Wei Wuxian, a known entity in the scene, famous for his screamo covers of pop songs who has a large social media following.
And who is otherwise known as the lead singer of deathcore band Fierce Corpse.

Summary
Porchay is a last-semester sound engineering intern at TMR, one of the biggest record labels in the world. When, through a series of events almost entirely outside his control, he suddenly finds himself tour managing one of his favorite bands on short notice, Chay learns the hard way that life on the road is not what it seems.
Kim had fought Chay’s addition to his band’s road team tooth and nail. But as the tour goes on, he finds himself inexplicably drawn to Chay for reasons he still can’t understand.
It’s too bad Chay is convinced Kim hates him.

Summary
Kim’s metalcore band, Arch Revival, is at the top of their game. A year and change after their last tour, they’ve just dropped their seventh full-length record and are about to embark on a headlining tour again—and Kim is in good spirits, since his boyfriend is coming with him.
Unbeknownst to Kim, though, Chay has been up to something the last few months since he started working at one of their scene’s most influential record labels, which he finds out once they’ve already left on their tour.
And unbeknownst to Chay, it’s getting under Kim’s skin.
