Summary
Mere moments pass before Dream realizes something is amiss, but it is several moments too late. As he turns to see who has interrupted him, he expects to see young people emerging from the club to enjoy the night air. Instead, he hears a strong female voice call out, “Stop right where you are and let her go.”

Dream is searching for the last of his rogue nightmares. As he finally finds her, he is interrupted by two young women with supernatural abilities and is bound again to this plane.Buffy and her friends are searching for a creature that is killing young people in London. When they come across a man turning a young woman into sand, they know the only way forward is to capture him.
And Hob Gadling is living his best life as a history professor, spending more time with his oldest friend Dream and falling head over heels for him. What else can he do but help when he realizes his friend may be in danger?

Summary
Just as he raises his hand, the door flies open, a crucifix is jammed in his face, and he is pulled bodily into the apartment. Johanna stands there, sleep rumpled, smelling vaguely of ale, still fully dressed, and incongruously wearing a trench coat. Her eyes widen as she gets a better look at the blond vampire at her door. “Get in here Gadling,” she hisses, as she further shoves Hob behind her, blocking his body with her own, and staring down Spike.
In this moment, Hob knows more than ever that Spike is his kind of people, as instead of getting serious, a smile spreads wider and wider on his face in utter delight at Constantine’s reaction.

Not only is he newly romantically involved with Dream, but he has made some unlikely friends, including the vampire Spike, who is in town scoping out a nest of vampires who are dabbling in the occult.
