The moon, which only shone bright in the darkness, which illuminated what was hidden, which looked down on you so gently, that was Saitama. Not everyone noticed the moon, or the light it shined, but still the moon remained, illuminating an impenetrable blackness.
Would that make Genos the stars, only wiling to shine when the moon rose? Only a flicker of light dancing in a far away world compared to the moon, but persistent against the nothing of space. He would protect Saitama from that darkness, even if he was only one light against an eternity of unknown, and he would burn and burn and burn.Series

Genos never really stopped searching. But his search had slowed, and eventually paused, and it was time to resume and end it all. He needed to find the mad cyborg, he needed to lay his demons to rest.

He would tell Genos it was unfair, and Genos would always turn to him and ask what he meant.

“I believe that to be impossible, Saitama.”
He would kiss Genos on the jaw, catching him by surprise since it was Genos who had leaned down to kiss him, but when had Saitama ever ceased to surprise and amaze Genos?
“You knew how to love, you understood the feeling. I was so lost, completely hopeless.”
Genos would look at his face so handsome and eyes so devoted. If he was hopeless then Genos was helpless, drowning in his affections.
