Summary
“Yah,” a deep voice said, and Jimin slowly opened his eyes to another man approaching from behind the first, unlit cigarette dangling from his lips. He must have been a head taller than Jimin, at least, with brightly colored hair and a well-used leather jacket hugging his lean frame. He was handsome, his features bold and his eyes smoldering from the inside. “Leave the kid alone.”
“This asshole elbowed me in the ribs and—“
“Did you not hear me?” the tall man said, eyes flashing darkly. He pulled the cigarette from his mouth, shoving it into a jacket pocket. “I said get lost.”

Summary
“I got it,” Namjoon said, frowning, readjusting Jimin’s position as he began to slip. “I’ve got him. We’re fine.”
“You’ve known him for a week, we’ve been his hyungs for months,” Yoongi said.
“So? What are you trying to say? You’ve been his hyungs for months but you still let shit like this happen?” Namjoon said incredulously. “Great job you’ve been doing.”

Summary
His knees were throbbing, and his left nearly gave out on him, but he pushed. He had to push. He was too afraid of what would happen if he didn’t. He sprinted for the stairwell highlighted by exit signs, up and up and up because he knew, even wounded, that he was still faster and in better shape than all of them.
Clambering out onto a random floor, Jimin fled down the hallway, pulling at door after locked door until he was able to burst into an empty biology lab, locking the door behind him. 'Help me biology lab hurry,' he typed, hands shaking as he sent it to everyone on his admittedly short university contact list. He dropped to the floor, back pressed against the door as he waited, chest heaving.

Summary
“Jimin,” Namjoon said, breath ghosting along the shell of his ear and sending goosebumps down his spine. “You…you mean a lot…to me. I just wanted to make sure I said that straight out, so you know.”
Jimin wanted to like it. He wanted to feel warm, to feel comforted, to feel loved. He wanted to just feel alright for once in his life. But he was afraid. He wasn’t even sure what it was that he was afraid of, only that his mind was clouded with a haze of fear. He wasn’t supposed to be afraid of Namjoon. The feeling of arms closing in…maybe it wasn’t even Namjoon anymore.

Summary
"I don’t have enough money for food," Jimin texted, picking his phone back up in a hurry. The entirety of the amount she’d given him would go to rent. And only rent.
"Don’t be dramatic," the response read. Jimin’s heart fell. It was what he should have expected.

Summary
Did…did his hyungs get into a fight? Sure, he knew they didn’t get along very well, but Yoongi had promised to try. And Namjoon…why would Namjoon hurt him? What if they were both hurt? Would he have to pick sides? And at school? Why would they fight at school? What on earth could have—
"Jimin, they wouldn’t want you here," Seokjin continued to send him texts.
Jimin frowned, hurt, as he stared down at his phone. They wouldn’t…
He sighed, hand shaking slightly. Well, no one else wanted him there either, but he was there anyway, despite it all.

Summary
“Get off,” Namjoon said, turning his head to the side.
Jimin shook his head furiously.
“Jimin,” Namjoon said, sighing. “I can’t deal with you right now.”
Jimin bit down on his lip to fight back the choked whimper that wanted to escape his throat. "Take," he mouthed, twisting off the lid and shaking one pill into his palm. He set the bottle on top of the mattress, closing his fist around the freed pill. Take it, hyung.
