Summary
"The Conclave is destroyed. Everyone who attended is dead. Except for you."
That got his attention. Especially because Anders had no idea what she was talking about. "The Conclave?"
"Do not dare to play innocent now," the seeker warned.
Anders frowned, more unsettled by her words than he would have liked. This was not about Kirkwall, not only. Whatever catastrophe had occurred, it seemed Anders had the impudence to be its only survivor. Marking him both as the last witness alive and the primary suspect. Not that his record would allow him to dispute otherwise. "You think I'm responsible."
"Who else but the apostate who destroyed the Chantry of Kirkwall?"

Summary
"I beg you forgiveness. I am but a humble servant. You are back in Haven, my Lord. Some say... Some say you saved us. The Breach stopped growing, just like the mark on your hand. It’s all anyone has talked about for the last three days."
Anders stared at her, speechless.
Then her words slowly started to make sense. The temple, the demons, the Breach. Against all expectations... He had survived.

Summary
"I thought I wasn't to be watched by templars," said Anders without any greeting or preamble.
Which did surprisingly nothing to ruffle the seeker. No, Cassandra did not appear all that put out yet. If anything she seemed to have expected this protest, or as her slight judgemental frown indicated, she had more accurately expected this tantrum. "Guard Langlois is not a templar," she said with a nod to the young man.
"Ah, that makes it alright then," Anders rolled his eyes and crossed his arms. "It's a detail and you know it."
A sigh. Cassandra visibly clenched her jaw, then spoke as though what she had to say next was scorching her tongue. "Varric advised it."

Summary
"We are looking for a Mother of the Chantry," Cassandra explained before the others could reject Solas' overture. "Her name is Mother Giselle. She contacted us. Told us to meet her on the outskirts of Redcliffe, where the refugees have settled in numbers."
Unfortunately, the man who had first threatened them was the one to respond. "Pfah! You truly think we would give any answer to you lot? You're no refugees."
"Perhaps you will," the seeker persisted, "to the Inquisition."
A rather loaded silence followed.
"The Inquisition? From the prints dropped by those crows?" They faintly heard a woman wonder.
The sound of conversations came to them in mumbles and mutters. Clearly, more than two people were gathered behind the palissade.
At least they knew of them. He'd have to remember to thank Leliana and Josephine for this later.
