Summary
Azura's magical adventures never seemed like they hurt this much.
Her leg was definitely broken, maybe a rib or two, on top of that, because sucking in a full breath definitely wasn't an option if she didn't want to black out from the pain again. There was also a gash across her chest that she really didn't feel great about not having clotted yet.
The mud was the worst of it, though. Mud was supposed to dry when it got hot. Mud wasn't supposed to burn.

Summary
She was back again.
The little elf girl who had taken to chasing her through the forest was one of Luz's new favorite pastimes.
She was strong. Initially Luz had put in efforts to divert and discourage predators from attacking her as she went about the forest, but when one slipped through, she had seen her control one of those slime creatures to fight the predator herself, and she was significantly more relaxed about her presence after that, knowing she could handle herself. At the same time, if the elf ever caught her, Luz was sure she'd try to kill her, and despite her being stronger and better equipped than she was before, the slime creatures were still something she felt leery about engaging with.
But that was only if she could actually catch her.

Summary
'Human observation log entry one.
'In the interest of organization and the building of a proper medical history, I have decided to create this log to record any information I can on the human that has come to be living in my room. Past this point, I will refer to the human as, 'the human,' 'Luz,' or 'the human, Luz' depending on context, but all of these are referring to the same subject.'

Summary
"What's going on?" Edric shouted, pointing his finger to cast a spell, forcing the Griffon to kick a discarded sweater up into his face, disrupting his concentration and forcing him to stumble back.
"Get out of here. I'm dealing with it," Amity growled, using more mix to flip the Griffon onto her back, trying to seal her to the floor with the disgusting purple slime.
The Griffon struggled unsuccessfully for a moment against it, before carving something into the floor with her bare fingernails, slamming a hand down once the circle was completed.
Then there was fire.

Summary
Amity smirked, still focusing on the book. “Maybe I just like griffons more.”
“I didn’t think you liked anything with a pulse, Blight.” Augustus tilted his head thoughtfully. “I feel bad for that poor griffon having to suffer just because of you.”
She stiffened, entirely.
“Oh, did that hit a nerve?” He asked. “You really need to learn not to bring wild animals into the house when your mom would just have them kil-”
That was all he managed before Blight sprang straight over the table and slammed her fist into his jaw.
