Summary
Viktor isn’t dense. Despite his quiet disposition, he’s not particularly socially inept. He may be one leg down and one foot in the grave, but he’s still not blind either. He knows when eyes trail him and he knows when they’re filled with pity or disgust. But he knows when they’re filled with heat and want, too. He sees such looks directed between lovers and those who covet that which they can’t have, but every once in a while he notices a look or two like that shot in his direction. It’s flattering every time it happens but he always chooses to ignore them – it’s not like any of them can offer him what he really wants.
What starts off as Viktor reluctantly attending one of the Council's lavish parties, ends rather interestingly when Jayce spends the night over in Viktor's apartment.

Summary
Jayce Talis is nothin if not pigheaded. He also has a hero complex the size of the moon. This is why he is endlessly frustrated by Viktor - strong, independent, just-as-stubborn Viktor - who refuses his help every step of the way. What starts as a regular argument spirals into something more that neither of them are entirely sure what to make of.

'Please, for me?' The words shouldn’t have worked on him. He should not have looked into those wide, hazel eyes and he should not have said yes. And really, Jayce is usually sweet. It should have not been a burden to do this one thing for him in turn. However, the moment they step into the lavish hall the gala is being held in, he realizes that he has made a mistake.

The first thing he notices when he opens his eyes is that it’s bright. The second thing he notices is that, well, he’s back in the workshop. Their workshop. He stares up at the familiar ceiling and thinks: what the fuck?
“Jayce?” An achingly familiar voice calls, startling him out of his stupor. “Are you alright?”
He’s up before his brain can comprehend what his body is doing. His hands grip the other’s shoulders as he looks him over, eyes unable to settle on any single part of his partner.

Once is an accident. Twice is a coincidence. But three times? Three times is someone perpetuating a baseless rumor.
The nature of the gossip is much like that of sound waves. Word travels, and it does so at an alarming speed. Whether it were the three assistants or someone else, the rumor seems to have caught everyone ablaze, spreading like wildfire. He needs to put a stop to this before it's too late.(aka.
