After everything is said and done the ruins remain.
Lucifer and Alastor had slowly started to build up their relationship until Lilith came and destroyed it all. She had made sure that Alastor suffered under not only Lucifer's, but the whole Hazbin Crew's hand.
Lucifer would love to put all the blame on Lilith but the fact is, that he and the other's were at fault as well. Now Alastor is hiding, hurt and tired in a far away realm, trying to leave the past behind him and finally heal.
And Lucifer? Well he sure as hell will try everything in his power to make it up to Alastor again. If he has to tear up Heaven itself he would do it without a second thought. His heart is yearning for Alastor's love, his closeness, his presence. He needs him like he needs to breathe the air and if he could bath in Alastor's glorious light for just one more second, he would gladly take it and die in piece.
