As Task Force 141 deals with new and worse threats, Kate Laswell suggests a new addition to their task force in order to maximise success rates in their overall missions. Matthew "Judge" Rook is tasked with becoming a supposedly 'temporary' transfer into the 141 task unit to find out where a large quantity of military equipment and personnel have gone. However, as the team progresses, a few new things are discovered about their new teammate that could potentially compromise any trust he's gained with that group, especially with a specific reticent and withheld man among them...
