AU of 2003 cartoon.

After surviving Shredder's attack on the rooftops and later in April's home, the turtles never went after their enemy. Once Leo fully recovered, they all returned to New York, cautious, but ready to get back to protecting the city.

Leo just wanted to stop living in constant fear of another attack. He had no idea fear would be his permament company for the rest of his life when Shredder struck again, this time not to kill, but to break.
