Lena had tears running down her cheeks, a light illuminated her face and her eyes fixed not on Lex, her eye-line a bit higher, by Kara's estimation.

Metropolis never really felt like home to Lena.
But to be fair, the first time she truly felt a place was truly home, was in the last couple of years in National City. With friends and game nights. Wine and laughter.
