Summary
Lance stood in front of the door to Keith’s room, holding a tray with a covered dish of leftovers. Hunk had put it together specifically for Keith, so Lance knew at the very bare minimum it was edible if not actually incredibly tasty; and it didn’t smell as bad as what Coran had attempted to feed them for dinner. A month into this madness and Lance still wasn’t quite used to the cuisine.
The list of things he was willing to barter away for a decent cheeseburger was growing worryingly longer by the day.

"I'm not drunk," Keith protested languidly. "Drink's s'not alcoholic, th' princess said-""Keith, where is your hand?"
Keith raised his hand obediently, fingers threaded with Lance's still, so that he could see they were holding hands as innocent as could be. He flicked his ears again and Lance sighed out an amused breath. "Do you remember why I took your hand?" Keith shook his head, but raised their twined hands again, this time twisting Lance's hand so he could bring it to his face and kiss his knuckles tenderly. Still clad in the paladin armor he couldn't get Lance's scent through the heavy gloves, but when he looked up Lance's face had gone totally pink.
"Why?" Keith asked lazily, as Lance yanked his hand away and looked in the other direction, blushing hard.

Lance froze as he felt the brush of lips across the back of his neck; the faint trace of teeth on his skin. “Mm, you smell really good,” Keith murmured, his breath hot. Lance relaxed just slightly; although he wasn’t sure he would live down the high-pitched shriek he let loose at the first hint he wasn’t as alone in the showers as he thought. Keith’s teeth were slightly sharp, and Lance inhaled as he felt them trace the scarred wound that Lance wore proudly on the back of his neck. “Really, really good. Did your heat start early?”
