Clint was done with waiting for Phil to propose, because it turned out that when Clint Barton wasn’t smashing Phil's plans, his own heart was prone to doing so, and Clint was not letting that goddamn bastard die without marrying him.
Clint’s not one for elaborate plans, but it’s the kind of thing Phil would appreciate, so this once he can make an exception. If only Phil would stop messing things up.
