"Really, Kent? I don't need to know?"
"I didn't mean it that way --"
"How the fuck else could you possibly mean it?"

Summary
It wasn’t Kent’s fault this time. He hadn’t seen the guys next to him, it wasn’t his fault. He was trying his best not to rush the goalie, but when he pulled off, thinking the puck was in the net, he sideswiped the biggest guy on the opposing team. Their combined momentum ricocheted Kent the opposite direction, where he ran into another guy, who pushed him to the ice. He landed chest first, with a threatening crack. He didn’t register the pain. He tried to sit up, but the big guy he had run into first body slammed him back into the ice.

Summary
Kent stood up and circled his arms around Jeff’s hips. “I want to, it’s just that we don’t know about the last round of trades. I don’t think either of us will get traded, but it’s just a risk. If you had to move, I don’t know what I’d do.”
“I doubt I’ll get traded, babe. No one has wanted me yet, even after two Stanleys.”
Kent rested his forehead on Jeff’s shoulder. “What if I get traded?”
“You won’t. You’re our captain, that will not happen.”
