When Yeonjun was a child, he had found a small bird that had tumbled from its nest, its wing cruelly snapped by the fingers of careless humans. Unable to stand the thought of it being trampled underfoot, he had tucked it into his pocket and carried it home.
His mother had dried his tears when its wing didn’t heal properly and he watched it struggle and flutter against the floor. Yeonjun had begged her not to let it suffer out in the world and promised he would take care of it himself. His kind heart had come from his mother, and she didn’t scold him for being attached to the pitiful little thing.
He carried the bird around in the palm of his hand, and sometimes in his pocket, until he forgot the bird couldn’t fly at all. He loved it all the same.
As he grew into adulthood, he hadn’t shaken the habit of finding beauty in things that were a little broken.
Much like the bird that Yeonjun had carried around in his hand, Taehyun walked by his side, often in silence. Something as fragile as bird wings had snapped inside Taehyun and grown back crooked.
Yeonjun found him beautiful nevertheless. -

After years he decided to revisit the old farm and that is where he met the new owner Tyler Joseph.
Tyler had lived his whole life in Columbus, but after wanting to live on his own he decided to pick up his old life.
When turning up to Huntsville he was caught by surprise when finding a beautiful cottage farm-house, including a small farm.
Tyler was sold within seconds and bought the land.
Tyler wasn’t someone who couldn’t work the knots and knew his way around, after all this had been his whole childhood - helping around the farm, feeding the cows or helping his mom in the kitchen making a new recipe.
But when the two met, it was something different than just the feeling of friendship. Or was it only Josh who felt that way when their hands brushed against each other when he gave Tyler a helping hand with some groceries. -

Lian's past, haunted with false Gods and painful rituals, reluctantly saves The Seer from their death in the woods, forcing him to reflect on his own faith and what he stands for. Lian learns how deep scars can transcend just mortal flesh.
