Written for a prompt that requested a super horny oblivious Omega and frustrated/worked-up Alpha. In which Arthur is tricked into heat and Merlin tracks him down.

"What do you mean?" Arthur asked, voice rough with emotion. This was his mother. The woman he'd longed for since before he could remember, and now she was here before him, touching his face tenderly.
"I don't understand," Ygraine said finally. "You're - You're an alpha?"
"Yes?" Arthur said, though it came out sounding more like a question. It was fairly obvious, after all. What did that have to do with anything?
"But the child I gave birth to... He was an omega."
Takes place during 2x08 "The Sins of the Father" immediately after Ygraine tells Arthur about magic being used in his conception and her death. -
