Summary
Bitty doesn't know why he even posts the video, but he can't help but be grateful for it when it sparks a friendship with a charmingly awkward internet stranger. Between arguing with his parents about his future, his fear of checking making a resurgence, and life as a college sophomore at Samwell, having someone he can talk to with no filter is an outlet he desperately needs. But as him and his new friend grow closer, Bitty starts to suspect that there may be more to his anonymity than simple shyness.
Jack didn't go to Samwell AU.

“You’ll tell Bits you’re sick,” Jack says. It takes Kent a second to realize that Bits is the boyfriend. What is he, a chihuahua? “To explain why you’re so off. And that way…I just…I don’t want you touching him.”
Kent barks a laugh that’s probably never escaped Jack’s body before. “Are you fucking serious? We do a full Freaky Friday and your biggest concern is me fondling your boy toy?”

“You have to understand, Jack’s stuff, it’s so specific to his perspective,” Lardo says. “I like his photos because it’s like looking at the world through his eyes. So I guess you could say his world is…”
“Bitty,” Shitty exhales. “His world is Bitty.”
Or: 4 times Shitty was oblivious about Jack’s sexuality, +2 times he wasn’t.

This was beautiful I kid you not, the way it was written was just 10/10. Poetic but not overly flowery to the point it's hard to read. Reading this felt effortless ✨
The story was also just, so good, I love all the imagery and the intense realness of the situations they found themselves in. And it all ended happily and hopefully and I'm so happy for these little guys man
Also I love how whenever it rained I knew shit was gonna go down lol

Summary
Jack knows some people take issue with that word, hate, but he never has. It’s just a convenient descriptor.
He hates losing. He hates the third step from the bottom of the stairs in the haus that creaks way too loudly beneath his weight. He hates the way people’s lips flick downward when they realize he’s nothing like his father. He hates himself, most days.
And he hates his cousin.
Or: Bitty, Jack, and their complicated relationships with extended family.

Summary
It’s not the first time Bitty's seen Jack get recognized or even fawned over. It’s just hard to draw a line connecting the guy who’s begged for autographs with the boy who kissed him awake today and asked if they could have chicken tenders for dinner.
Or: 5 times Jack gets recognized for being a Zimmermann in Georgia, +1 time he’s recognized for being a Bittle.

Summary
Bitty wants to pull Jack in by the collar of his shirt and kiss him right here, right now. Instead, he says, “I don’t get it. Why I’m supposed to hate you, I mean.”
Jack shrugs. “Teams like having a common enemy. It bonds them, I think,” he says. And then, so quietly Bitty almost doesn’t hear it, “For what it’s worth, I’m not doing a very good job hating you either.”
Or: After the overdose, Jack traded in his hockey stick for a lacrosse stick. This proves to be very inconvenient for Bitty's budding crush on him.

Summary
“Bits, I’ll be alright,” Jack says. “I’m a big guy. It was only one little brownie. Maybe I won’t even feel it, eh?”
“Maybe.” Bitty’s been at Samwell long enough to know that those are famous last words.
Or: Jack accidentally gets high and muses on death, gaydar, and his love for Eric Bittle.

Summary
“Great party,” he heard from behind him, and he turned to see Bitty pressed all against the threshold to the living room. He’d changed from his party clothes (what he privately referred to as Frat Boy Chic) into one of Jack’s merch jerseys and a pair of shorts so tiny they practically disappeared under the jersey’s hem. “I had a really great time.” As Jack watched, Bitty bit his lip. His eyes flicked up and down Jack’s body.
Jack gave him a confused little smile. “Glad to hear it.”
Bitty huffed a little laugh and unpeeled himself from the wall, stepping into the room properly. His hands disappeared behind him. “You know, I’m a really big fan of yours.”
Ohhhhh, Jack realized. Bitty wanted to play. Jack could definitely, definitely roll with that.

“It is an emergency,” Shitty says gently. “I’ll put out for a game shirt tonight, okay? And then we can watch your boy wreck some Aces, it’ll be fun.”
“Adam Birkholtz isn’t my—”
Shitty doesn’t let him finish. “I know I know, you just think he’s a great defenseman, did you see that game where he did x y z, his ass in that suit at that presser, got it. I’m fully versed on your appreciation of Holster’s, uh, technical skills.”
