He was positive he could take on an intruder as long as they were not some huge body builder.
The door knob twisted and he was running out of time. He quickly spotted the discarded Converse and grabbed a shoe. He held the sneaker up in the air like a bat. He was ready to shoe this trespasser in the head if that was a thing. He wasn’t sure if it was. Shit!
The door flung open and a young man strolled out without a care in the world, humming some song to himself, oblivious to his surroundings – no situational awareness to be found. His brown hair was wet and messy with strands askew.
And… he was completely naked. One hundred percent bare. Peter’s eyes drifted down the pale torso that was covered in moles with some beads of water still trickling down his rib cage towards the vee of his narrowed waist.
His eyes could not help but follow the trail towards his crotch to check out… “oh my fucking God. Who are you?” The other voice unfortunately sliced through his ogling session causing his eyes to refocus back to the young man’s face who now finally appeared startled by a stranger standing in front of him.
Oh yeah, he was supposed to be confronting an intruder; not checking him out

The woods were alive with the sound of snapping branches and the sharp tang of fear... Stiles’ fear.
“This is fine,” he muttered to himself, stumbling over a root as the low growl behind him grew louder. “Totally fine. Just your average Tuesday in Beacon Hills, being hunted by a wolf on steroids.”
His flashlight flickered, of course, because nothing could ever go right. He spun around, aiming the weak beam into the darkness, his breath fogging in the cold night air. The glowing amber eyes of the rogue werewolf locked onto him, and Stiles’ heart leapt into his throat.
“Nice wolfy…” he started, holding his hands up as if that would do anything. “I’m probably stringy and gamey. You really don’t want me for dinner.”
The rogue snarled, lunging and then, out of nowhere, a blur of motion knocked it off course. Stiles stumbled back, landing hard on the ground as Derek Hale materialized in front of him, his glowing yellow eyes and bared fangs enough to send the rogue retreating with a whimper.
“Are you insane?” Derek snapped, spinning to glare at Stiles as the rogue disappeared into the woods.
