"Erwin’s eyes opened, his body feeling weightless. Sitting up, he looked around at the ruins of Shiganshina, smoke rising from the rubble. There was a quiet muffling sound to his right. It was Hange; Hange was crying! Erwin turned to comfort them, but when he did, he saw Levi staring downward, tearless eyes filled with sorrow. His face was coated in blood. “Levi, what’s wrong?” he asked, moving to comfort him. But when he did, his eyes caught a glimpse of a body lying on the rooftop.
His body.
He was dead."
Following his passing on the rooftop of Shiganshina, Erwin must say goodbye. But where there's a farewell in one life, there may be a hello in the next.

Two: if you find yourself in a seemingly unwinnable situation, it's a sign that you are too dumb to discover the right solution. There is always a way, even when you’re pressed against the wall with a gun pointed at your head.
Three: if there's something you want, you should get it, regardless of the obstacles.
Levi absorbed these lessons, never imagining that one day he would need to apply all of them simultaneously. -
