Summary
After being shot, NYC policemen Donny Saunders moves to the sleepy town of Maiden Woods in search of a quieter life as a small town deputy. Expecting the worst he would have to deal with was the occasional domestic and drunken disorderly. What he hadn’t been expecting was to fall in love with his guarded boss, Sheriff Paul Shields or the increasingly strange incidents around town that could easily be written off as teenagers playing Halloween pranks. But something about it has his instincts going crazy. With the realization that something sinister might be lurking in the primeval forest surrounding the town, Deputy Saunders must navigate his maybe not so unrequited feeling for his boss and small town politics to protect his new life.
