Summary
In an alternate universe, a very well known KND operative by the codename Numbuh 411, who is the organization's archivist who is the only person knows everything about everything, finally gets decommissioned as a loyal, well beloved, and respected trooper and being surrounded by close ones who he personally involves himself around them in growth and guidance. All members of Sector V, Fanny Fulbright aka Numbuh 86 and Rachel McKenzie aka Numbuh 362/Supreme Leader.
They all were extremely emotionally saddened to send him off into the world of teenagers and later on adulthood with the fact they weren't ready for this day to come. However, Numbuh 411 has a reputation of being a couple steps ahead of everyone and have made a secret contingency plan or a backdoor in case his favorite kids needed their certain archivist for help or in his words just in case the end of the world comes, specifically the adult legend that is an ancient enemy of KND known as Grandfather. The Grand Archivist knows all and knows every little secret that make every KND operative wanting to know, while Teen Ninjas and Adults wanted to know to use against and end KND forever.

The first person she meets? A dead woman with godlike powers, who gives her a name —'Tizona'— and tries to plant seditious thoughts in her head.
The second and third, Gestalt scientists, come with a loaded gun pointed straight at her.At least her fellow Replikas seem nice.
But Falkes aren't reared like they used to be, not after what happened to FKLR-S2301, and when she's told to pick a companion for herself from her fellow Replikas-in-processing, she picks her first friend, LSTR-H17-01(p).
Neither of them really realize the significance of this, of course. Not yet, anyways. Nor do they know that Elsters have become something of a curiosity, too.

Slimy and wet, they dug their hooks into Numbuh Ordinal's skin. The cold came first, crawling up his arms and legs, shaving away more of his soul layer by layer. Memories, sad or happy, it made no difference, distorted into a gray pudding deep within the recesses of his mind. Faces of friends bled like an oily painting into the faces of strangers with vacant stares. The adults on a planet like Earth might have come to wield Delightfulization, but they were but pitiable insects compared to Numbuh Aleph Zero. Soon the process was completed. Numbuh Ordinal slumped onto his knees, transformed into yet another sock puppet, having learned the same terrible truth so many others before him had. There never was a Galactic Kids Next Door. Only thousands of Numbuh Aleph Zero's ever-changing masks.

Summary
This story follows Amanda Lorraine, formerly numbuh 306 and Technology Officer in sector LL, as she navigates her new reality as an undercover TND operative for the KND. Although she looks forward to continuing her service as a teen, playing the role of a decommissioned operative is much harder than she imagined.
She finds herself having to lie to her little sister and, in turn, gets lied to all for the good of the KND.
She is unable to rely on or talk much to her former squad, so now her best friends are like strangers.
Hardest of all, her boyfriend is decommissioned for real. No one knows what their relationship will be like now that he is missing most of the memories of their time together.
This story takes a more serious tone than the show. It focuses on the more difficult and arguably scary implications of decommissioning and life as a TND operative.
