Jakob and you had arrived at Rovaniemi the day before and spent the night at the hotel. After breakfast you'd spent some time just walking around and looking at everything. It was your first time at Rovaniemi, so everything was new to you. You were looking forward to one thing more than anything: the scheduled husky safari. You loved dogs and would honestly been perfectly happy to just see the huskies and get to hang out with them for a few minutes. But you'd get to go on a 3 km safari, in a sled pulled by the energetic dogs.

After almost having been assaulted by Sabretooth between Liberty Island and Alkali Lake, Ororo had surprisingly fallen in love with a mysterious strange mutant - formerly a childhood friend of Scott's - who'd been secretly working for the Brotherhood as well though. Ororo finding comfort over Jean's death in said mutant's arms then has inevitably led to tragedy for everyone involved. The devastating Dark Phoenix crisis following right after, all that guilt and regret is threatening to crash down on Ororo, so she seeks refuge and recovery in a shelter for mutants under construction in Alaska, together with an old priest friend.

Ezra Johnson is an avid dog sled racer and has been since he moved out to Alaska to live with his uncle at the age of seventeen.
During one such race, he gets into an accident and is sent back to Oregon to live with his mom at the age of twenty, his dogs being left back in Alaska in the care of his uncle.
Safe to say he wasn't too thrilled with the arrangement.Beatrice Olsen grew up hearing stories of her aunt racing sled dogs. The proof is the trophies from races she won and the dogs themselves, which were left in her care after her aunt passed.
She admired her aunt and always dreamed of following in her footsteps. She took classes to learn how to race and built relationships with her aunt's dogs.
The one problem is money. Her family doesn't have the money to spare to send her off to Alaska and pay the fees to enter her and the dogs into a race.
At eighteen, she's already not too happy with adulthood.When these two individuals are introduced to each other at the birthday party of a mutual friend I they learn about each other's situations. Will they be able and willing to help each other get out of their less-than-desirable life situations?
