Summary
Dean Brooks, a stoic and thoughtful detective from Portland, Oregon, arrives in Las Vegas at the most flashiest club on the main strip: The Dumont. A casino and hotel, The Dumont houses the one and only Dumont Dolls: glamorous showgirls who enjoy nothing more than to entertain and tease. Whilst investigating the murder he’s been assigned, Dean starts to fall for the warm and beautiful Dorothy “Dottie” Eymer, one of these glamorous showgirls at the Dumont. Sparks fly and the case looms as the two get to know one another, creating tension and danger in a Las Vegas setting of 1959.
