“Me,” Roy agreed, giving Edward a small smile.
“Since when have you had fucking tattoos?”
“I started back when I was in the academy,” Roy explained, holding out one arm for Edward’s perusal.
“Cool,” Edward breathed, and then he blinked again. He did his best to scowl, but the way his gaze darted back down to Roy’s forearms said volumes. “Which is so out of character for you, old man.”
“Since I've had them for years, does that not mean that I’ve been ‘cool’ this entire time, and you merely didn’t know due to our professional relationship?” Roy purred, stepping closer.
“No,” Edward replied, but it wasn’t said with any conviction. His gaze had lowered again, and this time he reached out with a hand to trace the line of Roy's tattoos, the chemical equation for coffee as it trailed up his forearm. His hand then moved, the rough pads of his fingertips skimming against the jut of Roy’s hip bones, exposed by the low hanging pants. Ed brushed a finger through the top of Roy’s happy trail, his touch warm and barely there, and Roy sucked a breath in, startlingly affected by the simple touch.

Summary
After the Promised Day messes things up a little, Fuhrer Grumman and his new government decide to reach out to the United Nations in order to establish relations with other countries and leave Amestris' bloody past behind. Unfortunately, the UN refuses to work with a country that has a well known child soldier, who has not even finished school, working for them. At the same time, some Heroes in Japan realize, that the noumus could be somehow linked to chimeras, products of cruel alchemy.
With a move that kills all the birds with one stone, Amestris sends their child soldier to school, Japan gets a State Alchemist to help with the noumus, and UA class 1-A gets a transfer student.
This fic is abandoned and unfinished. Enjoy what's left.

Ed is with the chimeras, went missing and declared dead at like age 6, al tried HT to bring him back, lost all 4 limbs instead, he became fullmetal and is trying to get his body back, ed is the one with the body dismorphia cuz of the whole tiger shit, he spent a few years with the other chimeras kicking around in Xing where he met Ling and they were exchanging some letters while there but agreed being so far away from Father was dying and they had to return. Ed saved Al from Scar but he was partially transformed and had his hair dyed so Al didn’t recognize him, said some harsh shit, then Ed ran off only to be confronted by Envy transformed as Al and Envy used a trigger word instilled in the tiger he bonded to and he went on a rampage and killed “Al”. He’s been missing and team agreed found Al and told him Ed’s alive to see if he had any info
