He took a swig of gin, wincing, and then slammed the bottle onto the pavement. It shattered into a good dozen or so pieces. Tim grabbed a particularly large shard.
If this didn’t go how he thought it would, then he’d be pissing away the only lucky thing that’d ever happened to him. But then again, Mum’d always said that there was no shame in returning gifts that he didn’t want, so long as no one ever found out.
So this time when Tim killed himself, he was polite enough to do so quietly.
