While he had no direct experience, Celebrimbor knew what heats were like. To be alone during one-- “Do they have to be?” The idea of Maeglin being uncomfortable, unhappy, twisted some deep part of his chest, and if he could do something about it-- That was not how heats, or people, or love worked, it wasn’t quite as simple, but it didn’t change the way he felt.
Maeglin looked down at the skirting board, thinking. “If the time comes, and the spirit of experimentation moves me, I know where to find you."
