“I guess we only have each other to partner, huh?” Jimin suddenly remarks and Jungkook looks left, looks at everywhere but Jimin in hope that somebody will just magically pop up and he won’t have to pair with Jimin, since he’s going to stutter and turn red and there’s no way in hell that he’s going to embarrass himself in front of Jimin like that.
But it’s the last row, and Jungkook mentally curses at himself for not going a few rows further down to find a seat and now all he can do is to nod dumbly as Jimin scrambles for a piece of paper to scribble down his number and before Jungkook knows it, Jimin’s gone and all that’s left behind is that piece of paper and the lingering scent of his cologne.
Jungkook picks up the piece of paper.

Jungkook likes how Jimin includes exclamation marks after each line, that’s so typical of Jimin - not that Jungkook knows Jimin well.
He thumbs the slip of paper, reading through it’s contents over and over before tucking it into the pocket of his jeans as he trudges out of the now empty lecture theatre.

“Could you help me with the jeans? I can’t seem to pull them up.”

“So,” Jimin starts, “What does this make us?”“Huh?” Jungkook answers a little dumbly.
“You didn’t think that this was a one time thing did you?” Jimin asks and Jungkook’s silent, trying to find the words, “Oh god so you think it is-”
“No I don’t,” Jungkook squawks, interrupting Jimin, who stares at him silently, as if edging him on.
It’s now or never Jungkook, he peps talk to himself inside his mind, and takes a deep breath.
“Truth is, I’ve had this hugest fucking crush on you for the longest time ever-”
“Jungkook-”
“-And I had like literally no idea how to tell you, because everytime I see you I have a screaming session in my mind, so I just keep quiet-”
“-Jungkook I-”
“-but I can’t believe I’m saying this, but Park Jimin, I like you. Be my boyfriend.” Jungkook finishes in one breath, and it’s not until he feels Jimin’s hands circle his face and Jimin press his lips ever so gently onto his own that he lets out a breath that he didn’t realise that he had been holding.
“I like you too, Jeon Jungkook. I have, for the longest time ever too,” Jimin says simply after he pulls away and Jungkook flounders internally for a moment, not knowing what to do.
“So are we…are we-”
