It only takes a second or two for Flo to slow to a stop, and only a second or two more for George's eyebrows to stop knitting themselves together. He's so relieved he could float right off the ground. She hasn't turned around, but she's waiting. For him.

Flo and George are growing through working and spending time together. And though she is very open about liking him, they still have a long way ahead of them. Kat, Lucy, Lockwood, the Skull, Kipps, Holly and Bobby will also make an appearane.
Just some Lockwood&Co Fluff, mostly George/Flo (occasional smut from Ch. 3 forwards, Locklyle from Ch. 7 onwards - but please give Karbones a chance, too). George learns a lot about Flo and vice versa. They figure out their relationship while interacting with all the characters around them.
This is mostly set during "The Hollow Boy", to fill in the gaps of Flo and George investigating and growing closer.

Fwhip is a Heron who was unwillingly recruited into a Kestrel scheme to find hidden treasure on an unknown island- which he would have gone along willingly to, if the unfairly hot Kestrel who had abducted him had only asked first!
Sausage is a Kestrel looking for money and an excuse to spend time with the cute Heron he kept seeing (cough, cough, following) from afar. When his fellow Kestrel Joey gives him a map to hidden treasure, he pounces on the chance to gather a team and go after it… except he maybe forgot to ask whether said team wanted to come along or not…
Oh well, the ship’s already sailing, there’s no going back now. What could go wrong?

Navia was sent to the Faction Isles for reasons. A lot of reasons. Most of them include “learning” and “relative safety” and “slightly less murder”. Bah. As if she needs that. She’d rather be out there, with her mother, on the Princess Crown- except she’d really rather not, because the Princess Crown sunk.
So now, she’s here, with a healing (but still-broken ankle), a temper that flares like a bonfire in a drought, and grudges that can only be solved by murder.
She only learned about the grudges part when she got there.
Gods-damned Kites and their tendencies to shoot cannonball holes in the bottom of ships.Or, Navia Vilamir-Hyestryke is sent to the Faction Isles to learn while not constantly being kidnapped for ransom.
