Six months after Hutch’s death, Starsky stumbles upon a homeless drifter named Pritt who has a gift for music… and Hutch’s face. As their newfound friendship blossoms and grows, Starsky struggles to stay true to his deceased partner’s memory but soon finds himself falling in love with Pritt. Pritt, never one to stick around in any one place for very long, worries that Starsky’s chosen him as his pet project in order to fill the empty shoes, and empty heart, left by Hutch. He struggles between accepting the safety and friendship (and maybe something more) life with Starsky offers and heeding the call of the open road with his trusty canine friend, Dog. Pritt, however, is no stranger to loss himself, and he subconsciously longs to stay. Will both men be unable to let go of what’s holding them back from being together, or will they learn to accept where the roads they’ve traveled have brought them up to now and be able to move forward in order to build a new life with each other?
