It was hours before they left, but leave they did, a slight swagger in their step and an unfamiliar glint of power in their eyes. The spirit portal wasn't all that far away, but they meandered around for a while longer- their mission was accomplished, much sooner and more simply than expected, so where was the harm in enjoying the journey home?

Eggsy Unwin was well aware that to say his life hadn’t turned out as he’d expected was a huge fucking understatement. He hadn’t expected to become a spy; he hadn’t expected to fall in love with his mentor and direct superior; he hadn’t expected to be married by age twenty-four, to someone completely different; and he hadn’t expected to be getting a divorce just one year into his marriage.
But what Eggsy definitely hadn’t expected was for his marriage to go up in literal flames, thanks in part to the return of his not-so-dead-but-currently-brainwashed best friend, setting in motion a series of events which would result in Eggsy, his family, and the aforementioned best friend being forced to move indefinitely into the home of none other than the sexy-as-sin posh gentleman whom Eggsy had managed to fall arse over teakettle for.
Meanwhile, Harry Hart was just trying to hold on to what precious little sanity he had left.

He was just not sure what, and that he refused to acknowledge the flutter in his heart as a crush. For the past two years, Eggsy's managed to keep his reoccurring feelings for Harry quiet. He planned to keep things that way until graduation, but, as Eggsy's familiar with, things never go the way they're expected too. Maybe, if he tried hard enough, he'd make it through the school year with minimum damage.
