Summary
Iterators, godlike in comparison to most creatures. They were simply made to be more than anything else that came before them in most ways. However, they still are living creatures caught in the cycles of their world. And, crucially, they are still people. As people, they break and suffer and lie and love. As people, they live and die… they still question.
Fivepebbles spent an excruciating amount of time sitting in his own dying body, waiting for the end as he lost more and more. In that time where he was both living and dead, he began to question.
Was he doomed to end this way form the start. But he ends up gasping against the feeling of it all returning to him and realizes he’s been sent back in time. He keeps his condition from going public and vows to change a few things- but can anything truly change his fate? Or is he genuinely that doomed by the narrative?
Aka- My take on the “Pebbles goes back in time/cycles” concept. Planned out about a year ago but rewritten (and/or written for the first time for at least half the chapters) but I decided it’s time to at least start sharing it. This will explore Pebbles as a character, fate, endings, relationships and change- hopefully for the better.

Five Pebbles bears the guilt of her collapse, having recovered from his anger. He remembers it all - the pleas of desperation from Moon and his other peers, begging for him to stop. All while he blocked them off.
It felt hopeless.

A few cycles have passed since the mass ascension. Iterators of the Forgotten Valley group are now alone. Some of them seek new entertainment, some devote their time to working on the Great Problem, some rage at the seeming betrayal of their missing masters. But the outside world has changed a lot since their benefactors have left the surface. Their empty cities, gardens and bridges won't stay empty for long.
This fic consists of broadcasts and pearl data, so the chapters will vary in length.

Millennia ago, long stood the Reign of Vialism. Born from a clutch of thousands of stars eons prior from the proverbial Mother that was KXY'YZE'Y'XE'WAXZE, one shone the brightest: the soon to be Lord of the Barren Earth, XYWE'KUXE. He was placed upon the sun baked lands, and tasked by His God to be His Messenger; His physical manifestation. Then, another- and another, and another. Nine Gods now walked the Earth, and KXY'YZE'Y'XE'WAXZE left them to their own devices to do as they sought fit.

But just as the manifestation of Holiness existed, there must have been an opposite. The brother to KXY's messenger, XENO'KUXE, was certainly not as benevolent. A deep blackness loomed within His soul, ready to explode outward and cast the world in Sin - but he was required to keep it in check. There is only so much one can withstand. So much pressure. So much responsibility. So much deep-seated hatred.
There was only one direction for it all to burst out of.
Spoken into existence was a phrase so vile, so utterly devastating and so refute in Sin - that it was to never be translated, or even written.And now, the former unity is divided. Tensions run hot.
And the world crumbles. -

ok so basically there’s this little fella called The Seeker, who is the slugcat of this campaign. Falling Spears, an Iterator who is about to be melted into the Void Sea because of the horrible earthquakes that slowly lower his chamber. he has a fascination with biomechanics, and built The Seeker with powerful legs. (like a miros bird!!) The Seeker was intended to convey a message to House of Sorrow, a good friend of Falling Spears who lives on a massive mountain.
this is TECHNICALLY optional to read in the narrative im making (that’s why im writing it first so it doesn’t have to be good and it can be optional so you don’t have to read this trainwreck) and mainly serves to provide some exposition about the characters and this part of the rain world universe!! enjoySeries
