22 years ago, a royal mage betrayed the throne and Imprisoned the King in a magical prison. Later the same night, she was killed attempting to flee the capitol city, Freetown. Without her to break the enchantment on the prison, the King was doomed to imprisonment. However, in the kingdom of Regalton, those who die are reborn within the border the same day that they die. Memories of past lives are restored on a persons' 22nd birthday. To free the King, all they had to do was wait for the Royal Mage's reincarnation.
Charlie's current life is going well. She has a job she loves, a boyfriend she's certain is her lover from a previous life, and her own bed to sleep in a room she only shares with two other people.
