Harry hadn't meant for them to get trapped in a time loop. He had cast the spell, hoping it would immobilise Malfoy. It wasn't his fault he didn't know what the spell did, it was the Half-Blood Prince's. Every surface is covered with him. The Bat. Sheets and sheets of paper plaster the walls, newspaper clippings and photographs that are all covered in frenzied, colourful marks. Crude drawings frame the pictures, rough like the painstakingly heartfelt crayon of a child, the same bats and birds and clowns repeated over and over again.
It’s like a strange graveyard where all things caped go to die, a dumping ground for all of the scraps of fabric and batarangs and broken gadgetry that the Batman has ever left behind. It’s scary, the sheer amount of it; the way that the spots of black seem to look down and corner him as though the caped freak is really in the room watching. Tiny, gleaming dots of white peer out from plastic cowls, an army of faux batmen keeping guard from the floor and the shelf and the bedside table, surrounding him from all sides.
Tommy has never been a religious man, can’t say he’s even set foot in a church since he was little (not since his ma died) but he has the strangest feeling that he’s looking at something unholy.

Shadow was finally best friends with Sonic, he could entrust his life with the other and he knew Sonic would do the same.
But now? Shadow questions if he was even worthy to be called such a thing in the first place, reason being? He betrayed the one person who understood him more than anyone, even Rouge. He left him for dead in the hands of ruthless scientists that could dissect him until there was nothing left of him.
Shadow knows that if Sonic was in his place, he would not care about the public and do his best to protect and help Shadow, he would not let Shadow be chained, he would not let Shadow be muzzled, he would not let Shadow be forcefully shoved into an E.P.F van as all his green emerald eyes held was fear and terror as he drastically looked around wordlessly begging for help as he stared Shadow dead in the eyes when all he did was nothing nothing nothing nothing nothing nothing NOTHING NOTHING-
Shadow should have done something. Then maybe, just maybe, he wouldn’t be so disappointed in himself for betraying a person he cares about for the second time.
(Also I know the summary is bad, but bear with me.)
