Heartbreakingly terrific, beautifully written, and the best Mer-Der fic I have come across on this site. The writing is phenomenal and the characterization is so realistic I can see it in my head. I recommend this fanfiction so highly, to any Grey's fans and Mer-Der shippers, its 100% worth the very very long read. Don't let the length deter you, the author makes every single word count. A fantastic Grey's Anatomy fic, definitely belongs in my bookmarks.
