Summary
Cybertron is a world at war in more ways than one. Locked in a massive confrontation between multiple factions, in spite of official war status, there looks to be no end in sight. As dozens of city states struggle for victory over each other, the peace-loving Autobots struggle to make sure there will be bots around when the conflicts eventually end, but it seems a hopeless endeavor.
Then, an unexpected connection established millions of years over opens a new facet to everything no one had ever dreamed of.

An incident among the newcomer aliens leaves Moonracer, Sunstreaker, and Beachcomber stranded in the Rust Wilds with three of the creatures. Meanwhile, a promise to a dying bot sends Star Saber down a rabbit hole in an effort to rescue a number of bots from slavery.
