Summary
Reid Richards, Sullivan "Su" Storm, and James Osborn are thrust into a dying world without an answer, hollow mirrors of the trio wrongfully taken from this world by a freak accident. The three must start from scratch to survive the wasteland of New York and discover the cause of the end of the world before they can hope to save it. The question remains: what kind of threat destroyed this world so thoroughly, despite the heroes defending it? How could they have failed so terribly? How could the three of them be the planet's best hope? The journey ahead is treacherous and will require them to overcome not only the challenges of the apocalypse, but also the challenge of learning to trust and even love again. With the help of some unexpected friends, life on Earth might be possible once more. They just have to stay alive long enough to see it.
(This world is heavily inspired by MCU appearances, but I have taken certain creative liberties and added comic-compliant and original aspects. Shout out to my friend El for listening to my hours of ranting and inspiring me to see this through.)

He opens the bedroom door and blinks. Roy dragged his favorite armchair into the hallway, and he’s keeping watch through the open door of the spare room. Roy’s got his bow within reach, and for all that he’s sprawled out lazily, Clint knows he could have an arrow aimed and ready in the blink of an eye.
All the kids are crowded around the open door, peering inside and attempting to whisper. Clint pokes his head around the doorframe and finds Deadpool and Wolverine sprawled out side by side on their backs, ankles and wrists webbed together. Both of their uniforms are absolutely covered in dried blood.
Clint blinks again. “Huh.”
Little Jay punches him in the thigh and loudly hisses, “Shhhh!”
