Blood ties never perish.
They are born in promise and endure through uncertainty. Woven with fervor, torn apart in rage or despair, denied until exhaustion — they never truly disappear. So thinks Olympus, convinced that blood is an absolute law to which every deity entering it must submit in exchange for a place, a role, a persona to embody without ever deviating. Nothing must change, no one must dare to desire it.
Yet, between the marble columns, the Messenger of the Gods observes, listens, remains silent. He passes through. He remembers. Guardian of truths too heavy to be spoken, keeper of promises even the gods have forgotten, Hermes connects worlds without ever being bound to them, serves all realms without ever claiming any.
It is said that he smiles. They say he obeys.
But the Messenger is made of thresholds and silences. What he truly sees, no one knows. What he truly thinks, no one dares ask. For he who knows all paths also knows which ones lead to ruin.
Perhaps he is only a reflection. Perhaps he is already elsewhere. Perhaps, from the beginning, he has been walking in a direction that Olympus refuses to name ? -
