Summary
Phainon is a hitman who doesn’t do clean kills, shows up to take his target out… and gets his ass handed to him by a nineteen-year-old in a school blazer. Instead of running, Phainon laughs through the blood, gets turned on, and starts showing up at school like it’s his personal playground.

Mydei leaned closer, close enough that Phainon could smell the cherry-blossom hand sanitizer still clinging to his skin under the blood and sweat. The contrast was obscene.
“Please,” Phainon rasped, grin widening despite the knee digging into his ribs, “be eighteen.”
Mydei blinked, then frowned.
“I’m nineteen, asshole.”
Phainon’s laugh came out choked. “Thank Christ.”
Because the kid was legal. And because (gods, help him) the violence looked so fucking good on him.
