Summary
When Apollo is banished, the Fates interfere. Instead of falling in a dumpster, they send him back in time, with no memories and no powers, back in the womb - the womb of Mary Grayson. Dick Grayson grows up, and eventually regains his memories. The fates had claimed he had a task to complete - but how can he complete it if he doesn't know what it is? And what was the point in sending him back just to remember?
Whatever it is, Dick knows one thing for sure: he's not going to give up his family. Any of his family. (Screw the laws. Dick is going to be the best dad ever.)

Apollo glared through a window at the harsh light of his own sun, feeling his power rolling off of his skin. Lightning bubbled in his veins, and he struggled to temper it. His hands came up to rub at his temples, the agony of an injury not entirely his pulling his attention away.
"Breathe, breathe," he quietly reminded himself. It was imperative that none of the others realized exactly who Lester was, so he had to pull himself together.
"Brother?" Hermes asked, popping up next to his throne.
Apollo screeched, and lightning exploded against the Appalachian Mountains. First, it was Artemis, and now Hermes. Thinking back, Apollo felt certain it was the Olympian Council's fault for most of what had gone on these past few months.

Life was peaceful. Beautiful.
Apollo remembered a sunny day, where he was sitting in the grass, watching a shimmery black beetle crawl across the grass, while Artemis frolicked nearby and Leto watched from where she was sitting against a tree.

As the giant serpent swung attacks at him, Apollo couldn't help but reminisce about older times – back when he was just starting out his trials.
Within all the hardships and true loyalty, not every good story has a good ending. As he fell into the unknown abyss of the universe, the only thing in his mind was his sons and daughters.
After the death of the ex-god, it is time for Camp Half Blood and their loyal campers to save their home once again. They would have to fight Python and continue with Apollo’s legacy.

The feeling of flying through the air, knowing the impact might kill him? That was familiar. Not being able to breathe despite being surrounded by air? That, too, was familiar.
The darkness invading his very essence, the rhythmic pulses of a heartbeat echoing around him? Those were foreign and terrifying.
Despite that, Apollo allowed only one brief scream to escape his throat as he hurtled through Tartarus.
