Henry is a failed man. Unemployed and living in a shitty apartment dead center in a bustling city called Mesos, the only thing he has to do is to tend to things already ruined. A sort of routine has given structure to Henry's life, but it all comes apart when his neighbor, George, approaches him. He offers him cigarettes, takes him out for light sunday brunches, and has evening chats with him. Henry cannot understand why such an upstanding person like George would ever associate himself with Henry. To retaliate, Henry kills George and life resumes as it usually does.
The only thing is that George doesn't stay dead. The rats Henry killed don't stay dead either. When George comes to help a sick Henry one day, he learns a few odd things and grows obsessively attatched. Tethered together through forced understandings and strange, otherworldly forms of connection, George a good, God fearing man and Henry, a man whose odd circumstances has led him to believe he is God, begin a journey in a world that is crumbling around them. -
