Written primarily by an LGBT+ individual, a lesbian (denounce), this expansive tale is very near and dear to our hearts. The issues dealt with inside of every fanfiction are emotionally raw to all of us; we've faced many of the same challenges as our protagonists, and we're ready to tell our stories.

Summary
Tensions are high between Cole and Stefan— they've done things they shouldn't have, and now they're stuck wondering how to deal with their feelings for each other. Stefan thinks Cole's too good for someone like him, and Cole's held back by his dreadful track record. It doesn't help that all eyes are on them as up-and-coming Homicide detectives, judgement coming from peers, superiors, and citizens alike.
They hope nothing will change, but with someone as observant as Roy Earle, that's practically impossible.
