Maximilian Robespierre and J.P. Brissot's arms are around each other before either can make the decision to disobey; the fervor of the club at this hour runs hot in their veins, a spirit of men so zealously fighting for life and liberty! Each of the two enemies clutches the other as though he could crush the life from him, and in this one gesture, return France to safety.
Based on that time the Jacobins hoped Brissot & Robespierre could just hug their differences away. An alternative universe in which Hug Diplomacy is actually an effective tactic to avert a catastrophic war and heal deadly factionalism.
