Summary
Ming never gets Joe back. The year passes and the contract is up; Joe leaves him behind without looking back.
He spirals, a shadow of his former self as he dwells on every small mistake he’s made until he finds out Joe’s twisted his ankle and rushes to the hotel he’s staying at to check on him. That day is also his last day alive, soul and body both lost to time. Or in time.
Ming wakes up back on The Damned Day, the one he lost everything he ever loved, and he will do anything to stop it from ever happening again.
